“Provocare” Digital Fiction: We Need Your Opinion, Stat!

Well. Between the announcement of the upcoming literary time-collapsing mashup project “Rumors of My Death” (commissioned by if:book Australia), and the English release of Enter+ Magazine’s Creative Manual for Repurposing in Electronic Literature”, it’s certainly been a busy coupla weeks. Another project that’s been simmering away productively here is a tingling collaborative digital fiction involving myself, the fantabuously creative Meg Vann, and the lovely and oh-so-talented Donna Hancox. The work, “Provocare”, is funded by Arts Queensland and (is soon to be) hosted by The Writing Platform. The project is a condensed reimagining of Meg’s short-story thriller “Provocation”, and as part of the final story package we’re offering you lucky boffins the chance to also read this original story [yay for completeness, huh?].

So, in an effort to make sure we’re all on the same design-oriented page [so to type], Meg, Donna and I thought we’d dump caution into the “devil-may-care” bin and ask for your definitive opinion on the Front Cover choice for this original “Provocation” story. Use your fingers, use your toes, use the tip of your nose, but – for the love of all things purdy and content-appropriate – please vote for the cover you like the best.
