Away-stepping from tech for a long weekend and it seems 'sif the digital world continues to turn without me being in it [how *dare* it! ;)]. Anyhoo, just checking into the Studio and *BOOM!!* - excite-worthy announcements are now splathered all over the shop, including:
Transitio_MX06 is wrapping up as we speaktype, with #PRISOM having showcase-featured alongside such gobstonkingly great games as The Stanley Parable and Papers, Please.

"Queensland Digital Writing on the international stage: QUT and The Writing Platform" is an Arts Queensland-funded programme which supports collaborations between writers and interactive designers to develop works for exhibition on The Writing Platform. The first project supported by the programme is 'Provocare', a digital fiction, created by Meg Vann, Mez Breeze and Donna Hancox.

Alright, so this week - although only being officially half-over - has contained some absolute gems in the rampant-excitement-department: let's quickly cycle through em, shall we?
#PRISOM has been delightfully analysed in "Thinking Through Digital Media", a book that: "...offers a means of conceptualizing digital media by looking at projects that think through digital media, migrating between documentary, experimental, narrative, animation, video game, and live performance.

…so here I am innocently dancing away in my studio chair to this track while craft-carving away at our "Provocare" Digital Fiction, and I've just received some amazing feedback about our Dreaming Methods co-produced project "Pluto" - an Aussie Technical Writer was so impressed with what he'd seen of the project he's been inspired to start writing creatively again!
